I’m a vibrant southern gal from Louisiana and a creative to my core. I think life’s way too short to wear boring clothes and black coffee is for the birds. I’m a sci-fi movie enthusiast, high-heel wearing, ‘hopeful’ romantic, and could spend more time than I’ll admit talking about my emo days ha! I’m mama to Atlas, and wife to Josh, and one thing I know for a fact, my purpose in this life is to be creative. I want every maker to harness their unicorn energy— sounds cute, I know. But, it’s really just believing in yourself and your creative abilities to make something magical. I want every creative person to believe in their own unique spark of creativity and be brave enough to share it with the world because that. is. magic.

My passion for the arts began when I was a little girl; markers, pencils, paper, and paint were very close companions to me as a child. I enrolled in my first art class when I was six years old…and oh my gosh I’ll never forget my first project, a paper mâché cat! To this day it’s still on display on my grandmother’s mantle. And I owe that silly cat a lot, because it charted the course for the next thirty years of my life.

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Art Institute in Dallas, Texas in 2009. Since graduating, I’ve worked in a variety of industries and had some unique professional experiences along the way that I believe shaped me into the creative professional I am today.
